3 Birth Story

We have created man from an extract of clay. Then We made him a sperm-drop ain a firm resting place. Then We turned the sperm-drop into a clot, then We turned the clot into a fetus-lump, then We turned the fetus-lump into bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh; thereafter We developed it into another creature. So, glorious is Allah, the Best of the creators. [23:12-14]

Allah has brought you forth from your mothers’ wombs when you knew nothing, and He made for you ears, eyes and hearts, so that you may be grateful. [16:78]

قال صلى الله عليه وسلم : ( وَالمَرْأَةُ تَمُوتُ بِجُمعٍ شَهِيدة ) رواه أبو داود
The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “The woman who dies in pregnancy or childbirth is a martyr. [Abu Dawood]

At the time of labor of Fathimah رضي الله عنها , holy wives of Prophet  Ummu Salamah and Zainab binth Jahsh رضي الله عنهن were sent and were asked to recite Aayathul Kursi, 54th ayah of sura A'raf. Surah Falaq [113] and Sura Naaz[114].

Alhamdulillah, my husband and I are currently the proud parents of 4 wonderful children. I began my journey into motherhood on 1425AH (2005) when I discovered I was pregnant with my first child.

My husband had the deep desire within himself of giving birth to his valuable children at home. He didn’t let me know of his idea at the beginning, since truly a natural childbirth was a foreign concept in our society. I can still remember the way my loving husband presented his wish to me in a calm and pleasing way when I was in my second trimester. At that time I was a teenager and didn’t have any knowledge of pregnancy or birth but I knew deep in my heart my husband loves me and always wanted to provide me the best.

Masha Allah, as his wish all my children were delivered right into their father’s hand. We chose homebirth because we wanted our children to be welcomed into this world in a peaceful and loving environment surrounded by those who will love them the most.

Arrival of My Cute Baby Girl 3 Weeks Ago

I woke up that morning with a feeling may be this would be the day. I planned to finish my house chores early, so the things will be bit organized. Did the cooking & laundry and leaned on the wall when I got the cramps. Alhamdulillah I managed to finish the work around 12:00pm and spent some time with kids asking their lessons while walking around the house. both my daughters were aware that something is happening to me and they knew the baby is coming today. I made everything ready we will need after delivery and the baby’s stuff.

As the moments passed the cramping continued, my loving husband served me with a hot tea we enjoyed a snack together listening to my favorite nasheed. Then I prayed talking to my loving creator asking for his help there is none other than him we can seek help.  By 05:00pm I had my water break down and the contraction were strong, requiring complete concentration. I took a sip of water between my contraction kneeling on the bed on the hand and knee position, my dear husband was so supportive and encouraging.

Subhanallah………..The final stage, I didn’t know what happened at that moment I grabbed the pillows  & PUUUSHED! The head emerged and with the next push her beautiful little body came out. Hubby put his arms underneath her and gently brought her up to the surface Alhamdulillah! Our 2.4kg beautiful baby girl with headful of hair emerged peacefully into the dimly lit room with a sweetest cry at 6:25pm. 15min later my placenta popped out with a huge push.

My children got impatient on hearing the baby’s cry to see their new sister they came in watching everything what is going on with their eyes wide open. We hope that our children will have a good foundation when time comes for them to have their own children, Insha Allah.

The memory of my children's births are my most precious memories. May Allah grant them health and bless them with long life.

The same loving creator who knows how to grow an egg and sperm into a human being knows how to get it out. Relax and let your body do the work it was design to do. We ask Allah’s help to bring up our children in a way that will please him and to make them the coolness of our eyes!

My Lord, make me steadfast in Salah, and my offspring as well.
And, Our Lord, grant my prayer.
As a midwifery student I'm grateful to my teacher for educating me in this field, the knowledge I gained from her are priceless. May Allah accept all her good intentions and kind teachings.

      - Blended tomato, garlic, curry & mint leaves
      - Heated ghee with cinnamon, clove and onion until golden brown
      - Mixed the meat with several types of spices
      - Finally before took the pot from the fire added dates to sweeten the Aqeeqa as it is a sunnah of Our beloved Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم
