  1. Assalamualeikum warahmatullah ua barakatu. I'm a mother of 3 little ones (4,3,1) just decided to do homeschooling alhamdulillah. I live in London and was soo happy to find your blog ma sha Allah. The islamic books that you chose to teach your little ones are the same as mine and I was just wondering if you would mind to give me a brief idea about the routine with your daughter at year 1...if you remember. I don't have mums who homeschool around so it would be very helpful to know. I was thinking to start around 8 and finish at 13:00 in sha Allah. Leaving the early morning for islamic studies and after that the other subjects. Jazak Allahu Kheiran.

  2. Wa alaykum Salam sis, Pray that you be benefited! When it comes to homeschooling the whole life is learning and gaining experiences, it varies from child to child depending on how their learning style is. Probably we sit together from 9.00 to 13.00 starting with the Quran lessons and the rest of the time is spent depending on how the situation is.
We usually do the Islamic studies in the evenings as it suits us well for practical lessons etc... any way you can decide which is better for you and your child.
Hope that the site http://www.islamichomeeducation.co.uk/phpBB3/ will be helpful for you to get to know more about homeschooling experiences as well as other stuffs Insha Allah.
    Enjoy your journey

    Jazakallah
